The CNE's definitive tally gave Javier Milei 55.69 percent to Sergio Massa's 44.30 percent in the November 19, 2023 Argentine runoff. [DOCUMENTED]

On January 8, 2023, supporters of Jair Bolsonaro stormed Brazil's Congress, Supreme Court, and presidential palace; the TSE declared Bolsonaro ineligible until 2030 in June 2023, and his separate September 2025 criminal conviction is under appeal. [DOCUMENTED]
Peruvian President Pedro Castillo announced the dissolution of Congress on December 7, 2022, was impeached and removed by congressional vote the same day, and was arrested; he denies the charges against him. [DOCUMENTED]
